An MOT certificate is a legal requirement and confirms that on the date of testing the vehicle meets required road safety and environment standards. The MOT certificate is not a guarantee of general mechanical condition of your vehicle and it cannot guarantee that the car will remain roadworthy for the length of time that the MOT certificate is valid.
